Tween 20, also known as Polysorbate-20 is made from polyethoxylated sorbitan (chemical compounds derived from the dehydration of sugar alcohol) and oleic acid, a fatty acid found in animal and vegetable fats. It is a mild surfactant used to emulsify oils, specifically fragrance or essential oils, into water -based products, such as body, linen or room sprays. Polysorbate-20 is also soothing to the skin.
